Websites built

Custom website development for businesses that need the site to do a job — bring in enquiries, take bookings, and hold up in search. Every build is hand-coded rather than assembled from a template, with technical SEO and page speed treated as requirements from the first commit instead of a phase at the end. Most go live in 3–4 weeks, and you own everything.
What I build
Website developmentThe site most companies actually need: a handful of pages that load fast, say the right thing in the first screen, and turn a visitor into an enquiry. Custom-coded, so nothing is shaped by what a template allowed.
The redesign that loses a business its Google traffic is the one where nobody mapped the old URLs. Redirects, structure and schema are planned before design starts — the search visibility you already earned comes with you.
For travel, hospitality, clinics and local services: the whole page arranged around the one action that makes you money. WhatsApp-first where that's how your customers actually talk.
Schools, firms and organisations with real content to organise — navigation people can hold in their head, and a structure that doesn't collapse when you add a section next year.
What every build includes
Not extrasHand-built front-ends. No Elementor, no theme marketplace, no plugin stack to maintain — and no monthly rent to keep your own site online.
Semantic markup, structured data, clean URLs, a real sitemap and canonical tags. Built in as the site is built, because retrofitting it costs more and works less well.
Responsive image ladders, self-hosted fonts, analytics off the critical path. Core Web Vitals are treated as an acceptance criterion, not something to look at afterwards.
Keyboard navigation, real focus states, sensible contrast, and layouts tested on the phones your customers actually hold — not just a desktop browser resized.
Clean repository, README, an architecture walkthrough and a signed IP transfer. Hosting in your name. Nothing forces the next developer to start over.
The person who scoped it writes it. No account manager relaying your feedback to a team you never meet, and no brief lost in translation.

How a website gets built
The processBefore layouts, the question is what a visitor needs to believe before they contact you. Everything on the page then exists to move that along — or it gets cut.
Pages, URLs, headings and what each page is for. This is the SEO work and the UX work at the same time, and doing it before design is why the build doesn't get rearranged three times.
Real type, real content, real speed on a real device — reviewed on a staging link you can open any time, not a static mockup that hides how it actually feels.
Custom-coded, checked against Core Web Vitals and accessibility, redirects mapped if we're replacing an old site, analytics and Search Console wired up before it goes live.
Repo, walkthrough, and a person who answers when something needs changing. No retainer required to keep your own website working.

Frequently asked
Website developmentBuilding a website by writing its code, rather than assembling it from a template or page builder. The practical difference is what happens when you need something the template didn't anticipate: with custom code it's a change, and with a builder it's either a compromise or a plugin. It also means nothing is loading on your site except what your site needs, which is most of why custom builds are faster.
Most business and marketing sites go live in 3–4 weeks. Larger builds with portals, logins or payments run 6–10 weeks. The fastest complete build I've shipped was a school website plus a working admissions portal in 7 days, where other agencies had quoted six months — that was an unusual sprint, not the standard promise.
Every project is quoted individually after a short call, and that quote is fixed and in writing before any work starts — no hourly creep and no change-order games. What moves the number is scope: how many pages, whether you need to edit the site yourself, and whether payments or logins are involved.
Not always, and I'll say so. If you need a handful of pages, want to edit everything yourself and aren't competing hard on search, a builder is a reasonable buy. Custom code earns its cost when speed matters commercially, when your brand needs to look like nobody else's, or when the site has to do something specific — a booking flow, a portal, an unusual checkout. Below that threshold I'd rather tell you to keep what you have.
It can, and that's the most common way a redesign goes wrong: the new site launches with new URLs, nothing redirects, and months of accumulated search equity disappears. On a rebuild I map every existing URL to its replacement, keep the structured data intact, and check indexing after launch rather than assuming it worked.
Yes, entirely. You get a clean repository, documentation, an architecture walkthrough and a signed IP transfer, with hosting in your own name. No platform lock-in, no monthly rent to me or anyone else, and any competent developer can pick it up — which is the point.
Most product work is international. I'm in Himachal Pradesh on IST, which overlaps US mornings, UK afternoons and Gulf evenings — calls in your time zone, async when you'd rather not meet, milestone billing, and a repository your future in-house team can take over on day one.
Tell me what the website has to do.
Three sentences is enough to start. I'll tell you what I'd build, roughly how long it takes, and whether you actually need a custom build — if a builder would serve you better, you'll get that answer instead.
